My saigas in a new project by National Geographic and WWF
A couple of days ago National Geographic together with WWF and the Kinder brand launched a new conservation project "Caring for saiga together" https://kinder.nat-geo.ru/ , which will be carriaed out in the saiga habitat in North-Western Caspian region. Three of my images were used to decorate the project's web page. In 2018 I submitted those images for the NG Wild Russia exhibition and two of them were put on display and into the catalog. Now one photo has taken the cantral position on the project's main page, one became a background for the test section and the one with the wolf and the saigas sits on top of the question where this predator is mentioned.
This is an honor and a source of great joy for me, because the purpose of wildlife photography foes beyond the pretty pictures and the thrill. Ultimately, it is about conservation and education.
